Daliyot Stream Nature Reserve

You have a few days off and you are looking for attractions in the north for the whole family? The Galilee is one of the most beautiful areas in the country, where you can find a variety of water attractions and streams for walking that are suitable for both lovers of challenging routes and for the whole family. One of these streams is the Daliyot River also known as the Magrasa. If you are looking for a spectacular route in its appropriate beauty with stunning water attractions we highly recommend coming and hiking in Daliyot Stream.

Water attractions in the north for the whole family

Daliyot Stream is a large stream that originates in the springs of Bradella and Mansura northwest of Givat Orcha. The creek flows westward, creating a deep canyon using a high and impressive waterfall. The visit to Magrasa includes a walk of about 40 minutes to an hour in the water at a medium depth (up to about 90 cm) and is therefore also suitable for walking with small children or babies in a baby carrier.

Stream trip in the north? Please protect the environment

When we travel in nature we are of course not interested in harming it in any way. Unfortunately, our nature walks can have a negative impact on the environment when we do not make sure to leave the reserve as we received it. It is important to know that in 2020 a municipal bylaw was passed stating that disposable utensils as well as glass bottles must not be brought into any public garden, grove, stream or nature reserve within the Upper Galilee. Please follow the guidelines and be sure to keep our nature beautiful and clean.
